- 1. Ignition Devices
- Since our development of the first automotive ignition coil in Japan, Diamond Electric has always strove to reduce size and increase performance of this key component that impacts an engine's output. With the continuing progress of performance and electronization in automobiles, meeting fuel efficiency improvement and environmental issues has become a major developmental theme. In addition to our mainstay product, automotive ignition coils, we are developing tools that will serve to systemize and integrate engine combustion control devices including sensors and other peripheral parts.
Leveraging the technologies and know-how fostered in Japan over the years, we will build a global production framework that stretches out to North America, Europe and Asia providing high-quality products that satisfy the needs of the world.

- 2. Electric Devices
- As an important means to respond to automotive fuel efficiency improvement and environmental issues, the electronization of control devices for hybrid and electric cars is fast accelerating.
Diamond Electric has poured out all of its know-how accumulated over a span of many decades to meet these challenges and is developing many types of controllers jointly with our customers for 4WDs, air-conditioner units and plug-in hybrid car chargers, among others.

Diamond Electric's electronic control devices are used in various aspects of life including air-conditioner units, hot water tanks, fan heaters, etc. We quickly and individually meet the varied needs of our customers with our air-conditioner controllers, inverter modules, EcoCute controllers, and many more. Our development efforts for energy-saving products have paved the way towards environmental conservation measures such as lead-free solder, component miniaturization, efforts to conform to surface mountings following manufacturing method acceleration, etc.
In addition, with our broad range of technologies and experience accumulated over many years, impressive track record and comprehensive software and hardware strengths, we are aggressively moving into new markets such as the rapidly expanding alternative energy field and looking to greatly exceeding our traditional area of home electronics. |
